Dear Elder and Sister Caycayon,
Our Relief Society wanted to do a service project that involved the missionary in our ward (my daughter), so they decided to collect things to send to the people in the Philippines. Because it is being sent by boat, I'm assuming that you probably won\t receive the box until mid-June. I'm not sure if my daughter will still be in your area by that time or not, but I hope that you will be inspired to get these things to the people that would benefit the most from them.

We had the privilege of working with the Leflers- Beau, Audrey, Bentz, Amy, Jorie and baby makes six (he's sleeping). This young family came to Bohol for their vacation...not just for family fun but also to carry on their family tradition. Vacations are for service and service is fun. They ran the screening for malnourished children. Our missionaries helped to weigh and measure the children.
Us: "Sure. We'll bring our truck and haul everything."
"No Sister, not move house...move a house.
You know, cutting the legs, lifting it and moving it from one place to another."
"How many missionaries does it take to move a house?"

| We had an island wide zone conference combining the 3 zones of Bohol-Tagbilaran, Valencia and Calape. We were also gathered together to celebrate our 1st year as the Philippines Cebu East Mission. But not with a luau. We celebrated Filipino style and had a Fiesta!! |
